"Only At Macy’s," “Macy" for short, is a beautiful chestnut 2000 Paint/Quarter Horse with a blonde mane and tail with the softest eyes that I half lease. She has been my teacher since I started riding at age 72. 

When Macy was younger, she showed through Second Level with a younger rider, Melanie Delduco, her owner and my instructor.  

She was the reserve champion at BLM with a musical freestyle. She attended many youth festivals. Macy is a gentle soul. Stubborn, but a love and a favorite at the barn. 

Now, at 78 years old and Macy at 24, we have competed up to Training Level Two and Three, winning Training Level Champion and high points at numerous shows. In 2025, I would like to move up to First Level. 

My athletic background before riding was competing in triathlons between 1985-2012. At the World Championship Ironman in Hawaii, I competed 17 times with 11 first-place age group wins and competed in many other distance races in Europe. My triathlon highlight was being inducted into the USA Triathlon Hall of Fame.
