Grayson (a 24-year-old Thoroughbred/Shire cross) and I have been together for 14 years, first as a lease from Vienna Farm and then as horse and owner. We have shown mostly at Training Level throughout this time but got our highest score at our recent Century Club ride.
Tanya Rennie has been our trainer from the beginning, and I credit her with making such a good match. While “Mr. G” is certainly not an upper-level horse, he has given me everything that I have ever wanted in an equine buddy — a trustworthy companion and a good teacher.
